I know.  You learned how to cycle as a kid.  I’m not talking about that.  I’m talking about learning how to navigate traffic safely and confidently.  Laws in all 50 states treat bicycles as vehicles.  Not only do we have a right to be on the road, it’s often the safest place for us to be…provided we know what to expect and how to react to changing conditions.

As a League Certified Instructor, I teach teens (15 and up) as well as adults the Smart Cycling curriculum developed and used by the League of American Bicyclists.   Smart Cycling combines classroom and on the bike training over nine  hours and two days.  You’ll learn what to do and then we’ll go out and do it together.    Simply put, there is no better training available anywhere for someone who wants to ride a bicycle than the League’s Smart Cycling curriculum.
